HTA Real Estate is delighted to sponsor North East rugby player Ash Smith who is currently playing first team rugby at Percy Park RFC in the fly half or centre positions.
Ash played all of his junior rugby at Percy Park in North Tyneside and has played for the first team from the age of 17. He has represented Tynedale in National Leagues 1 and 2 and recently had a professional contract in Italy for the Amatori Messina club in Sicily, before returning to the North East.
Ash is also a professional rugby coach for Newcastle Falcons working as Regional Development Officer and has previously worked for England Rugby. He also coaches at Durham School, Northumberland County and Northumbria University Women’s 1st XV.
