Industrial property specialists HTA Real Estate has secured a significant warehouse acquisition, on behalf of Kinaxia Logistics from last mile logistics real estate company, Mileway.
Kinaxia Logistics, which operates within the UK transport and warehouse sector, has taken 102,000 sq. ft. of industrial space at Doxford International Business Park, to fulfil a range of new delivery contracts.
Built in 1999 on Camberwell Way, the high specification property has open plan warehousing, office accommodation and staff amenities on a 6.43 acre site. It sits adjacent to the A19 and six miles from the A1.
Director at HTA Real Estate, Simon Hill who acquired the property, said: “This is a strategic acquisition for Kinaxia which will allow them to fulfil a number of contracts in the region. We were delighted to secure the warehouse facility, in a very competitive market, as it was one of only a couple of buildings of this size currently available. Its location just off the A19 and approximately 4 miles from Sunderland City centre and 6 miles from Nissan make it a very attractive location for distribution throughout the wider region”.
